Chronology of cameras Wirgin

The Spidex B (or Spidex de Luxe) is the high-end version of the Spidex A. It is considered a variant of the Wirgin Presto sold in the French market. The Spidex A is the variant of the Wirgin Auta.

This dual-format camera allows for eight exposures in the 6 x 9 format or sixteen exposures in the 4.5 x 6 format. In the viewfinder attached to the camera body, a movable mask allows for adjusting the framing according to the chosen format.

To address the trigger hidden behind the shutter crown, scissors were added, and a vertical metal rod facilitates the operation of the trigger.

Photo-Plait also included these models in its catalog.
